RIBA Presidency 2018 - 2021

The successful candidate will take up office as President Elect for the 2018 session, and will then serve as RIBA President for a two-year term beginning on 1 September 2019.

There are three candidates for one available seat, therefore this seat will be elected by ballot.

RSAW Presidency 2018 – 2021

The successful candidate will take up office as President Elect RSAW for the 2018 session, and will then serve as RSAW President for a two-year term beginning on 1 September 2019.

RIBA Council

Nationally Elected, two seats

The successful candidates to serve on the RIBA Council for a three-year term beginning on 1 September 2018.

There are eight candidates for two available seats, therefore these seats will be elected by ballot.

The successful candidates to serve on the RIBA Council for a two-year term beginning on 1 September 2018.

There are three candidates for one available seat, therefore this seat will be elected by ballot.

The successful candidates to serve on the RIBA Council for a three-year term (or in the case of the West Midlands seat a two-year term) beginning on 1 September 2018 as Regionally Elected members.

What happens next?

Voting ends on 7 August at 5pm, followed by the announcement of results on 9 August.

The RIBA is governed by the RIBA Council, elected from among the RIBA membership, the majority of whom are chartered architects.

Council passes down detailed responsibility to the RIBA Board and main committees. Chaired by the President, Council meets four times annually and is ultimately responsible for the conduct and development of the Institute.

Make sure your voice is heard by choosing to represent your Institute and your fellow members on a regional, national and international scale.
