RIBA South West/Wessex

RIBA South West/Wessex

RIBA South West and RIBA Wessex represent 2,000 chartered members, 1,400 student members and 350 RIBA chartered practices across the South West of England

RIBA South West and RIBA Wessex represent 2,000 chartered members, 1,400 student members and 350 RIBA chartered practices across the South West of England.

Through a wide range of activities, we support the delivery of the RIBA's vision to champion better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and our members.

We do this through promoting the value of good design to clients and stakeholders, providing guidance on the selection and appointment of architects, outreach activities, and a comprehensive CPD programme.

We are developing links with local authorities across the South West of England to support a strong relationship between our members and the planners. And we have a strong and active relationship with all five universities running architecture courses, including running the RIBA Student Mentoring Scheme at Bath and UWE Bristol.
