  • 3 June, 1 July, 5 August, 2 September, 7 October, 4 November and 2 December
Themes of these walks will be announced closer to the time.

Dates and times

These walks take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Each day has two identical walks that vary only in length, so we'd recommend you choose to attend only one walk each day:

  • the short walk, 30 minutes, starts at 12.30pm and ends at 1pm
  • the long walk, one hour, starts at 1.30pm and ends at 2.30pm

The short walk is ideal for those with less time or who want to walk a short distance; the long walk, for those passionate about the subject or strong walkers.

Meeting point and accessibility

The walks will start in the reception of the RIBA’s HQ, 66 Portland Place.

We recommend you arrive a few minutes before starting time on the day, as the walks will depart from the building soon after. All walks will take place outdoors, so please wear comfortable footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing. Routes will include walking on surfaces with uneven surfaces and crossing busy roads.
